Gokova Gulf

 

This beautiful gulf offers breathless landscapes with one of the strongest colour contrasts of the entire Turkey. Its history, attributed to the famous Turkish writer Cevat Sakir, tells that when he died, an angel brought him to heaven. Once there, he asked if heaven was Gokova. So this heavenly place is for you to discover.

1st day

Embarking in the afternoon in Bodrum, familiarize and knowledgeable with the crew, boat and about the cruise. Dinner and overnight on board. Bodrum is the ancient Greek town of Halikarnas with ruins of Mausoleum. Today it is a lively town, famous for its night life and shopping, particularly for very beautiful leather bags. We recommend visiting the Castle of St. Peter, overlooking the harbour, and the ancient theatre that still hosts events and concerts in a very picturesque setting beside the bay of Bodrum.

2nd day

Departure after breakfast to the uninhabited island of Karaada, a small and peculiar island in front of Bodrum. Lunch on board and can be occupied with water activities. In the afternoon we will reach a small port of Cati, located in a nice bay framed by pines. Dinner and overnight on board.

3rd day

After breakfast departure to the archipelago the "Seven Islands" a marvellous paradise where you can enjoy a bath in blue sea. Lunch served on board. In the afternoon arrival in the bay of Kufre, while you witness the life of this small village. Dinner and overnight on board.

4th day

After breakfast navigates to the Longoz bay, where you can have a unique bath. Lunch on board. In the afternoon sailing towards a small village of Karacasogut. From there possibility to visit the nice town of Marmaris by land. Dinner and overnight on board.

5th day

After Breakfast navigate towards Cleopatra island, which is a small island beach made of smooth white sand all over. The legend tells that Anthony and Cleopatra spent their first honey moon night on this island, also it says that this special silky sand which has been brought from the North African desert. Lunch on board. In the afternoon sailing towards small inlet called Degimenbuku. The eastern part of this bay is called "English port" and it is famous for sheltering the English submarines during the Second World War. Dinner and overnight on board.

6th day

After breakfast navigates to North of Akbuk Gulf. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, after a sea bath, the cruise will sail until Cokertme Bay, a charming small fishing village. Dinner and overnight on board.
 

7th day

After breakfast, navigate towards Bodrum. After a bath stops in Oraklar or Ciflik where the crystal clear water resembles a natural aquarium. Lunch on board. After that return to the port of Bodrum. Dinner will be served on board in the port, where passengers also can enjoy the city night-life, with full of bars and shops. Overnight stay on board.

8th day

After breakfast disembarking until 9.00 a.m.
