Kornati Islands

An ancient Dalmatian legend tells that God created them at last, as a seal to His work. And this poetic legend tells that He created them "with tears of stars and breath of sea". The Kornati are a handful of islands scattered far the Dalmatian coast. But these islands are different from all the other islands in the world. Rough, essential, barren, lonely, arrogant and full of peace impossible to find elsewhere.


The detailed route will be explained by the Captain upon embarkation. This can be changed at anytime due to safety reasons, weather conditions and logistics. The route may not follow the sequence of stops as described

1st day

Embarking in the afternoon in Split. Served with a welcome cocktail. Then you will have time to familiarize with the crew and be knowledgeable of the boat, the cruise and to be settled in your cabins. Navigate to Rogoznica Island where there is a Marina, naturally safest and most efficient, called Marina Frapa. Further, there is a small salt lake called Dragon’s Eye (lake sometimes foams and boils)

2nd day

After breakfast, navigate towards Skradin, a small city at estuary of the river Krka, this city has narrow and cobbled streets and the houses are dating back to 18th century. Especially the faces of these buildings are decorated in Venetian style. And you have a chance to visit the National park of Krka, where rich flora, fauna and famous waterfalls. After, you have a possibility to visit Sibenik city and it’s Fortress of San Michele, which gives an unforgettable view of the old part of the city and nearby islands. Dinner is not included. Lunch and overnight stay on board.

3rd day

After breakfast we sail to National Park of Kornati Islands, which includes 89 islands and islets, biggest Archipelago in Adriatic sea. Karstic origin islands are mostly bare and rocky, full of caves and cliffs. Lunch on board. Dinner is not included. Overnight stay on board.

4th day

After breakfast, the day will be spent inside the Park, while you swim, enjoy and witness all the advantages this unique surrounding that offers. Lunch on board, dinner is not included and overnight stay on board.

5th day

After breakfast navigate to Zirje island. Stop for a sea bath and relaxation in the crystal clear waters. Lunch served on board. In the afternoon you can visit to the island and reach its highest point and enjoy the view of the entire archipelago. Dinner is not included. Overnight stay on board.

6th day

After breakfast, navigate to Primosten. Originally the scarce inhabitance made this island in to peninsula while constructing a wooden bridge, today it is a causeway. Lunch served on board. Then you have a possibility to visit the small city and witness its beautiful beaches and clear waters. Primosten is also famous for its nightlife. Dinner is not included. Overnight stay on board.

7th day

After breakfast, you will be sailing to Trogir. This is considered as the best preserved Romanesque-Gothic town of Europe. And the ancient part is protected under the UNESCO. Lunch served on board. In the afternoon you can visit to the city and witness numerous work of art and cultural monuments, while walking through its lively streets with full of shops. Dinner is not included. Overnight stay on board.

 

8th day

Breakfast on board and disembark in Split until 9.00 am
